The Virnig V60 Root Rake Grapple for Skid Steer Loader is a heavy-duty two-cylinder grapple designed for digging, raking, piling, and loading debris on commercial sites. It’s built for large skid steers and professional crews who demand durable performance and fast material handling.
- All-in-one mounting package: Includes universal skid steer mounting hoses, couplers & fittings and cylinder guards for a ready-to-run attachment.
- Two-position hard stops: Built-in stops in both the open and closed positions protect cylinders during back-dragging or clamping on heavy loads.
- Cast, pin-on teeth: Deep-cutting teeth for aggressive penetration into roots and piles of branches, with long wear life and easy replacement.
- Two-cylinder, single jaw design: Optimized for digging, raking, piling and loading debris with efficient forward and reverse operation to drag material into piles.
- Heavy-duty construction: 1/2" Grade 80 steel jaws and rake tines deliver long-term durability in demanding environments.
- Wide opening for large loads: 53.7" grapple jaw opening enables you to haul substantial amounts of brush per pass.
- Durable hydraulics and bearings: 2-1/2" bore, 8-3/8" stroke cylinders with NitroSteel® rods; greasable pins (1-1/4" and 1-9/16" pins) and Teflon® coated bushings for smooth operation and longevity.
- Machine-specific protection: Includes a hydraulic package designed to protect hose routing and extend system life.
- Size options: Available in 72", 78", and 84" widths to fit a range of loaders; overall dimensions and weight scale with model (see specs).
- Compatibility notes: Some clearance considerations exist with RRG72 on certain Takeuchi track loaders and John Deere G-Series (330G–333G); plan installation accordingly.
