The Virnig V50 Angle Snow Blade is a lightweight, highly controllable snow removal attachment designed for skid steers handling light-to-medium jobs. It’s ideal for smaller lots, driveways, and tight spaces, offering precise angling and durable edge options for efficient windrowing.
- Universal mounting package: Includes skid steer mounting hoses, couplers, cylinders & fittings for quick, hassle-free installation on SSL/CTL machines.
- One-cylinder hydraulic design: Allows the blade to angle +/- 30° in either direction, enabling effective windrow formation and versatile snow clearing patterns.
- Full down-pressure maintenance: Keeps consistent contact with hard-pack snow and ice to achieve clean scrapes and minimize leftover buildup.
- Edge oscillation: Side-to-side movement helps the cutting edge follow surface contours, reducing gouges and improving edge contact on uneven surfaces.
- NitroSteel cylinder rods: Corrosion, dent, and flake resistant with superior salt resistance compared to chrome, reducing maintenance in harsh winter environments.
- Trip edge protection: Two compression springs and three hinge points with a rigid moldboard safeguard the plow during impact and prevent damage.
- Edge options for wear and life: Steel edge (5/8" x 8") provides up to 5 ½" wear; Poly edge (UHMW) offers 5 ¼" wear; Rubber edge (1 1/2" x 10") delivers 7" wear; all are reversible and replaceable to extend service life.
- Available widths and models: SBS60-LD (62" blade), SBS72-LD (74"), SBS84-LD (86"), SBS96-LD (98"); blade height 31", moldboard thickness 0.19", oscillation +/- 4°, and weights ranging from 815 to 975 lb. Recommended loader capacity is less than 1800 lb.
