Description
The Virnig Big Bale Grapple for Skid Steer Loader is a rugged, agriculture-ready attachment designed to turn your skid steer into a high-efficiency bale handling machine. It tackles large round bales, loose hay, and other light materials with dependable performance on demanding farm jobs.
- Two-Cylinder Design: Two hydraulic cylinders deliver powerful grip and a wide jaw opening for secure handling of oversized bales.
- Grapple Jaw Opening: An expansive 73.4" opening makes it easy to grab large round bales in a single pass.
- Available Widths: Choose from 54", 72", or 84" to match your skid steer model and working width.
- Curved Tine Design: Curved teeth penetrate the bale with minimal damage while maintaining a strong hold.
- Open Bottom and Back: Provides excellent operator visibility and lets debris fall through for a cleaner work area.
- Heavy-Duty Construction: Built with high-strength components to resist wear and stand up to tough agricultural tasks.
- NitroSteel Cylinder Rods: 2" bore and 8.375" stroke with corrosion, dent, and flake resistant NitroSteel® rods for longer service life.
- Pins and Bushings: Greasable 1-9/16" hinge pins and 1-1/4" cylinder pins with Teflon®-coated bushings at all pivot locations for easy maintenance.
- Hydraulic Package Included: Universal skid steer mounting hoses, couplers & fittings included; machine-specific hydraulic package available for seamless integration.
- Tines and Plate: 0.5" thick bucket and grapple tines on Grade 80 plate, with 3–6 tines depending on model for stable material handling.
- Load Capacity Compatibility: Optimized for loaders with capacity greater than 2,400 lbs ROC to ensure optimal performance.
- Wrapping Compatibility: Compatible with twine or net wrapping (not recommended with plastic wrap to avoid tearing).
