Eterra EX-40 Flail Mower for Excavator
The Eterra EX-40 flail mower is the largest in the EX-Series, built for excavators from 9,000 to 20,000 lbs running 8ā50 GPM. It handles grass, brush and material up to 4ā5 inches ā heavier than either smaller model ā while keeping the contained downward discharge that makes a flail safe alongside traffic and property. Hydraulic hoses, couplers, a machine-specific mount and a chain guard are all included. Available from Skid Steer Store.

The EX-30 and EX-40 overlap between 9,000 and 14,000 lbs. In that band, choose the EX-40 if you cut heavier material and the EX-30 if you want less weight at full boom extension.
Thumb Saddle Option
If your excavator runs a thumb, order the With Thumb Saddle configuration. The saddle seats the thumb against the mower housing so it can stay fitted rather than being removed each time you swap to the flail. Select it above ā it is installed with your order, not shipped loose.
