The Eterra 7 ft. sickle bar mower for excavators is the mid-length bar in the range and the one most mid-size carriers end up running. Two extra feet over the 5 ft. is roughly 40% more cut per pass, which changes the economics on ditch and right-of-way contracts without demanding the carrier size a 9 ft. bar does. What will it cut?
