The Eterra 5 ft. sickle bar mower for excavators is the most affordable way to put shear-cut mowing on the end of a boom. At 5 feet it is the shortest and lightest bar in the excavator range, which makes it the right choice for smaller carriers and for work threading between culverts, headwalls, sign posts and trees. Auxiliary hydraulics rated 8–20 GPM. The 5 ft. bar is the lightest in the range, so it suits smaller carriers that would struggle with a 7 or 9 ft. bar at full extension.
Is the mount included?
No. Excavator models require a mount sold separately. Choose Machine Specific for an excavator or Universal Mount for a skid steer.
Do I need an electrical connector?
No. Only skid steer sickle bar models require one.
What will it cut?
Grass, weeds, reeds and brush under 2" in diameter. For heavier material, look at the EX-Series flail mowers or the Cyclone rotary cutter.
