DRKhorse Concrete Breakers

DRKhorse hydraulic breakers are available for excavators, skid steers, and compact track loaders. Select the breaker class that matches your machine's weight and hydraulic output for safe and efficient breaking performance.

A hydraulic breaker uses rapid impact blows to fracture concrete, asphalt, and rock. A concrete crusher uses two jaws to squeeze and crush material. Breakers are better for initial demolition, while crushers process and reduce broken pieces for removal.

Breaking capacity depends on the breaker class and concrete strength. Most mid-size breakers handle slabs 6 to 24 inches thick. Reinforced concrete may require a larger breaker class and multiple impact passes along the slab surface.

Never operate the breaker when the chisel is not in contact with material. Blank firing causes rapid internal damage to the percussion system. Always reposition the chisel onto solid material before resuming operation to protect the breaker.

Grease the chisel every two hours of operation or more frequently in dusty conditions. Proper lubrication prevents seizure between the chisel and bushing, extends component life, and maintains consistent impact energy throughout the work shift.
