Available in two extended lengths, they’re designed to keep trees steady during planting and compatible with standard power heads.
- Overall length and input: 48" overall length with a 2" hex collar input for reliable coupling to compatible power heads.
- Head construction: One-piece fabricated steel boring head for strength and durability in field use; double flighting supports faster drilling and debris clearance.
- Teeth and points: Factory-equipped Wisdom Gage teeth and Wisdom teeth with a Fishtail point for dependable penetration and control in varied soils; Carbide Wisdom teeth and Chisel teeth available for harder, more compact ground.
- Bottom geometry: Narrower bottom design to help keep trees in place and centered as you plant, improving accuracy and seedling placement.
- Replaceable components: Bolt-on teeth are replaceable, and standard replacement Fishtail Points are available along with heavy-duty Carbide Fishtail Points for extended life in tough soils.
- Model options: TAV30 (30" Tree): 48" length, 4" gage, 7 teeth, 280 lbs; TAV36 (36" Tree): 48" length, 4" gage, 9 teeth, 350 lbs.
