MP330 Fixed Tooth Mulcher for Power Take Off on a Tractor
The MP330 is our most light weight fixed tooth head brush mulcher for small 15-40HP 3-point hitch tractors. The concave shaped carbide tip provides aggressive brush mulching action by chipping the brush bit by bit. Part of the secret of their performance is the ease of rotating the teeth so there is always a sharp edge to make mulching easier. The spiral tooth pattern helps in one tooth at a time for smooth mulching.
The direct drive of a brush mulcher on the PTO of a tractor is the most efficient way to run a brush mulcher and if you check our brush cutting size charts you will see that the slower you can travel the bigger material you can handle. A heavy-duty reinforced timer belt delivers the force from the gear box to the rotor. To protect the gearbox and drive system, Baumalight PTO Mulchers come with a slip clutch, which automatically disengages the clutch at a torque that can be set to the horse power of your tractor. If a fence wire is caught during the mulching process, it can damage the unit by slipping over to the edge of the rotor and get wrapped on the shaft, so wire protection kit is provided to safeguard the rotor and the bearing.
