To protect the gearbox and drive system, Baumalight PTO Mulchers come with a slip clutch, which automatically disengages the clutch at a predetermined torque.

If a fence wire is caught during the mulching process, it can damage the unit by slipping over to the edge of the rotor and get wrapped on the shaft, so wire protection kit is provided to safeguard the rotor and the shaft.
